Your Role: 

As the Production Supervisor, you will lead our team of Production Technicians at our Buffalo, NY facility in assembling, inspecting, and shipping the most advanced helmets in the industry. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and scalability of our production processes while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Production Technicians, ensuring high performance and alignment with KAV’s mission and goals.

  • Manage daily workflows and production schedules, balancing priorities to meet deadlines while ensuring compliance to quality standards.

  • Utilize the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to track production progress, measure performance, and maintain accurate records.

  • Provide training and guidance to team members on processes, equipment use, and safety protocols.

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of production equipment including 3D printers, assembly, and inspection equipment.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance production capabilities, streamline workflows, and reduce waste.

  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and components, ensuring consistent supply for uninterrupted production.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role, preferably in a high-tech or 3D printing environment.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.

  • Methodical and detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency in using MES or similar systems for production tracking and reporting.

  • Hands-on experience with 3D printing technology and equipment is highly desirable.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to novel and complex challenges.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present ideas clearly.
